We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Cardiology Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic team at Southern NH Health. In this role, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive Outpatient care to a diverse patient population in an outpatient Cardiology clinic.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Outpatient comprehensive Cardiac assessments as part of office and hospital follow up visits.
- Round in the hospital setting on patients that are part of the cardiac service
- As part of the cardiac care team provide care according to the treatment plans developed by the Physician.
- Manage desktop for refills and triage questions by the nursing team.
- 36 patient contact/4 administrative hours per week, no nights or weekends
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Document patient encounters and progress notes accurately and thoroughly.
- Stay up to date on the latest advancements in cardiac care through continuing education and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in nursing
- 2+ years in cardiac care preferred
- Strong clinical skills, includingassessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
