Just as Southern NH Medical Center has been in the heart of Nashua, our food services and dietary team is the heart of the medical center! Our team of dedicated and talented Cooks, Workers, and Diet Clerks maintain a place of comfort for staff, patients, and families of all backgrounds to relax and feel at ease with hot meals, coffee & a variety of courses. Both the Food Services and Dietary teams collaborate to ensure all dietary restrictions are maintained and to keep our patient-centered values across all areas of the medical center.

About the Job:

Various food items are prepared in response to the needs of customers, the café, and in preparation for specific functions.

What You’ll Do:

  • Cook’s breakfast, lunch and maintains all requirements for the grill in the morning
  • Accounts for all invoices and tracking of paperwork for all Coffee Shops
  • Performs Coffee Shop functions as required, e.g. serving, stocking, operating the cash register
  • Capable of placing food orders as needed
  • Completes accounting of cash and makes deposits

Who You Are:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Certified in Foodservice Sanitation preferred but not required
  • 3-4 years relevant work experience in a high volume establishment
