About the Job:
The CT Lung Screening Coordinator oversees the daily operations of the CT Lung Screening Program at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center. This role ensures patients meet eligibility criteria, coordinates scheduling and documentation, supports program growth, and performs key Radiology Imaging Center functions. The coordinator serves as a central resource for patients, providers, and radiology staff to ensure a seamless, compliant, and patient‑centered screening experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate patient navigation from referral through screening, enrollment, and follow‑up.
- Review EMR work queues and schedule CT lung screening appointments appropriately.
- Verify eligibility, demographics, and required documentation—including shared decision‑making and consent.
- Ensure labs and prerequisites are completed prior to imaging appointments.
- Review charts to confirm studies are read, reported, and documented accurately.
- Complete pre‑visit questionnaires and consents before patient arrival.
- Prepare and distribute monthly program reports and maintain regulatory compliance records.
- Participate in cancer boards and contribute to program awareness and growth initiatives.
- Provide clerical and imaging support, including CD/film requests, image uploads, and image transmission via PACS, Powershare, and Life Image.
- Conduct MRI screening interviews using approved questionnaires.
- Utilize EPIC, PACS, Life Image, PACSCube, and standard office equipment.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Who You Are:
- A Radiologic Technologist or a CT Technologist with completion of a two‑year AMA‑approved Radiology Technology program.
- ARRT(R) certified or able to obtain certification within one year of hire.
- Licensed by the NH Board of Medical Imaging, MA Radiologic Technologist Board, or both depending on practice location.
- Experienced — with at least three years in a healthcare setting, ideally with exposure to Pulmonary Medicine, Oncology, or Diagnostic Imaging.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable navigating EMRs and imaging systems.
- A strong communicator who thrives in a patient‑facing, collaborative environment.
- Able to work on‑site and support both clinical and administrative workflows.
