About the Job:

The CT Lung Screening Coordinator supports and manages the daily operations of the CT Lung Screening Program. This role ensures patients meet eligibility requirements, coordinates their navigation through the screening process, maintains regulatory documentation, and contributes to program growth and awareness. The coordinator also performs essential clerical and imaging center support functions within Radiology.

What You’ll Do:

  • Coordinate patient navigation through screening, enrollment, and appointment workflows.
  • Review EMR work queues to schedule appropriate CT Lung Screening studies.
  • Verify patient eligibility and ensure shared decision-making and consent documentation are completed.
  • Review patient charts to confirm studies are interpreted and reported.
  • Confirm necessary labs are completed prior to appointments.
  • Complete required questionnaires and documentation before patient arrival.
  • Enter and maintain data for national lung screening databases.
  • Prepare monthly program reports.
  • Support program awareness and education.
  • Participate in cancer boards and maintain regulatory compliance records.
  • Perform Imaging Center clerical duties, including CD requests, image uploads, and image transmission via PACS, Powershare, and Life Image.
  • Conduct MRI screening interviews using approved questionnaires.
  • Utilize EPIC, PACS, Life Image, PACSCube, and standard office equipment.
