We are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative psychiatrist to join our team at Foundation Behavioral Health Services, a leading inpatient facility for the greater-Nashua area offering comprehensive mental health care services. In this full-time position, you will play a vital role in providing psychiatric care to patients across our inpatient, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients admitted to the 18-bed inpatient unit.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans,including medication management,for patients across all levels of care.
  • Provide individual and group psychotherapy sessions to patients in the PHP and IOP programs.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team,including therapists,nurses,case managers,and social workers,to ensure coordinated care for patients.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in psychiatric diagnosis and treatment through ongoing professional development.
  • Participate in administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
  • Active medical license in the state of NH (or working towards)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in providing psychiatric care in an inpatient or outpatient setting
  • Experience with evidence-based practices and a commitment to providing high-quality,patient-centered care
  • Excellent communication,collaboration,and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with EPIC EMR
