Who We Are:
The Emergency Department of Southern NH Medical Center continuously provides care to the diverse population of Southern New Hampshire with a 30-bed, critical care unit. In addition to supporting the community as a Level III Trauma Center, and Primary Accredited Stroke Facility, the ED has taken proactive steps to provide safe care to our psychiatric population through the implementation of a 6-bed secured intradepartmental unit. Our robust staff of nurses, paramedics, LNAs and Health Unit Coordinators work 12-hour shifts around the clock to provide a continuously higher level of care to our community.
About the Job:
As a member of the Patient Care Services team, the Health Unit Coordinator of the assigned unit functions as the receptionist. This position coordinates the administrative functions of the patient area, facilitates patient flow and prepares and maintains the patient's record with appropriate data elements. The Health Unit Coordinator works under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager.

- Greets patients & visitors
- Facilitates patient flow
- Functions as an area receptionist, while maintaining organized work environment
- Schedules follow up appointments
Who You Are:
- High School Graduate or GED required.
- Proven efficiency with computers
- Excellent customer service skills
