Position Overview
Foundation Medical Partners is seeking a Board-Certified Obesity Medicine Physician to provide weight management care with our Southern New Hampshire Weight Management team. This is a unique opportunity to practice in a dynamic and collaborative, patient-centered environment with both surgical and non-surgical weight management pathways available.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history, physical examinations, and laboratory testing
- Provide 36 patient contact hours and 4 administrative hours per week
- No nights, weekends, or call responsibilities
- Join a collegial practice of 3 Physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Providers and 2 Registered Dieticians
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating lifestyle modifications, dietary counseling, behavioral therapy, and pharmacotherapy
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare providers to ensure continuity and efficacy of care
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and document outcomes effectively
- Stay current on advancements in obesity medicine and bariatric care
- Participate in educational initiatives and outreach programs to promote healthy weight management in the community
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obesity Medicine
