Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including mental status exams and diagnostic interviews.
  • Diagnose and treat mental health disorders using evidence-based practices.
  • Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.
  • 2+ years' experience in an emergency department setting preferred
  • May provide support services to the PHP and IOP programs
  • May provide services on the Behavioral Health Unit
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Educate patients about their mental health conditions and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with the psychiatrist and other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.
  • Document patient care in a timely and accurate manner.

Schedule:

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

30 clinical hours
