About the Job:
As a Radiology Technologist – SNHH, you will perform all aspects of Diagnostic Radiology, producing high-quality images while ensuring patient comfort and safety. This includes trauma and orthopedic, along with maintaining compliance with safety standards, regulations, and departmental protocols.

What You’ll Do:

  • Review patient medical information and reconcile physician requests with exams ordered.
  • Complete essential documentation such as consents and questionnaires prior to beginning patient’s exam. 
  • Perform exams in Diagnostic Radiology including trauma and orthopedic.
  • Inspect all images performed for quality and proper documentation.  Present completed images to Radiologist for interpretation.
  • Transport patients to and from the Immediate Care.
  • Assist supervisor in teaching and/or monitoring new personnel.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with computer systems such as RIS and PACS.
  • Respect confidential nature of patient information and abide by HIPAA laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrate compassion and patience in all customer interactions.
  • Practice radiation safety by adhering to ALARA guidelines.  Use patient safety equipment effectively to move patients.  Utilize lead shields and aprons when appropriate.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care at all times.

Who You Are:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiology Technology program (or equivalent) and eligible for ARRT(R) certification within one year of hire.
  • Licensed by the State of NH Board of Medical Imaging, the State of MA as a Radiologic Technologist, or both, depending on location.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and operate imaging technology systems.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate, professional patient care.
  • (Preferred) 1–2 years of radiology experience.
