About the Job:

Title: Registered Nurse Ambulatory – Nashua Dermatology Associates

As a Registered Nurse at Nashua Dermatology Associates, you will provide specialized nursing care to patients receiving dermatologic treatment and procedures. You’ll assist providers with skin exams, biopsies, excisions, cosmetic procedures, and wound care. You will also play a key role in patient education, helping individuals understand diagnosis, treatment plans, medication usage, and post-procedure care. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering safe, compassionate outpatient care.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support dermatology providers with clinical procedures including skin biopsies, cryotherapy, and excisions.
  • Educate patients on skin conditions, treatments, medications, and skincare practices.
  • Perform wound care, suture removal, and dressing changes per protocol.
  • Prepare and maintain exam rooms, instruments, and supplies.
  • Document clinical encounters, interventions, and instructions in the EMR.
  • Communicate follow-up instructions and coordinate referrals or additional services as needed.
  • Ensure patient safety by adhering to infection control, safety, and privacy standards.
  • Assist with cosmetic dermatologic treatments as directed (if applicable).

Who You Are:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN required, BSN preferred).
  • Licensed RN in NH, MA, or compact state, with current BLS/CPR certification.
  • Prior experience in dermatology, ambulatory care, or outpatient procedures preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and patient education skills.
  • Confident in a fast-paced, collaborative clinical environment.
  • Familiar with EMR systems (EPIC preferred) and dermatologic protocols.
