About the Job:

The Enterprise Communications Manager will lead our internal, executive, and external communications strategies. This leadership position is responsible for helping to shape the voice of our health system, both internally to staff and externally to the media, community, and industry stakeholders.

You’ll be part of a communications team, partnering across departments to deliver high-impact, high-integrity communications that elevate SNHH’s brand, support leadership, and strengthen engagement across audiences. Reporting to the Executive Director of Brand Strategy & Community Connection, you’ll be part of a mission-driven team committed to advancing healthcare access and excellence in the greater Nashua region.

What You’ll Do:

External Communications

  • Write and distribute press releases, op-eds, articles, and sponsored content to elevate SNHH’s reputation

  • Coordinate media relations and prepare leaders for interviews with talking points, media training, and message development

  • Manage award nominations, speaker submissions, and thought leadership opportunities   

  • In partnership with digital, marketing, and creative teams, develop social media content

  • Collaborate with service line departments to ensure consistent brand voice and message

  • Support communications for events, including speaking engagements, conference prep, and branded materials

Executive & Internal Communications

  • Lead executive communications efforts, including writing system-wide email messages and leadership updates

  • Draft thought leadership content for use on platforms such as LinkedIn, media publications, organizational blogs, and internal publications

  • Collaborate closely with executive leaders on memos and board presentations

  • Manage internal communications platforms, including the organization’s intranet, employee newsletters, annual reports, and HR communications

  • Develop and execute employee engagement campaigns aligned with SNHH’s mission, vision, and values

  • Support internal efforts and employee storytelling that reflect and reinforce our culture and purpose


Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or Journalism

  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare communications, with leadership responsibilities

  • Mentor and support team members through coaching, feedback, and professional development.

  • Strong writing, editing, media pitching, and storytelling skills

  • Media relations expertise with an ability to secure earned media and manage press relationships

  • Experience working with executive leadership and managing sensitive or high-profile communications

  • Familiarity with project management platforms (i.e., Asana), intranet tools, digital content platforms, and social media strategy

  • Highly organized, collaborative, and strategic thinker with strong project management skills

  • Previous experience in healthcare or regulated environments preferred
