Who We Are:

In collaboration with Cencora, Southern NH Medical Center is excited to open a new retail pharmacy located within the Medical Center. Designed to enhance convenience, access, and continuity of care, this pharmacy will support patients throughout their healthcare journey while reinforcing our shared mission to create healthier futures for the communities we serve.

About the Job:

These roles report to the Director of Ambulatory Pharmacy, and provide comprehensive pharmacy services to patients of all age groups in accordance with Southern New Hampshire Medical Center policies, procedures, and all state and federal regulations. Responsibilities include medication dispensing and clinical care, patient counseling, collaboration with prescribers and healthcare teams, and supervision of Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Students in compliance with New Hampshire Board of Pharmacy rules.

What You’ll Do:

  • Dispense, verify, and manage medications in compliance with professional standards, policies, and state and federal regulations
  • Provide high‑quality clinical care and customer service, including patient counseling and issue resolution
  • Collaborate with prescribers and healthcare staff to ensure appropriate, effective patient care plans
  • Support ambulatory pharmacy operations and business goals, including quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and financial oversight
  • Supervise and support pharmacy technicians through training, scheduling, performance management, and daily operations

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited School/College of Pharmacy
  • Current, unrestricted pharmacist license from the appropriate state board of pharmacy
  • Broad training and/or experience in:
    • Business administration
    • Sales and marketing
    • Information technology
    • Retail or ambulatory pharmacy
  • 1–3 years of progressively responsible experience in retail or ambulatory care pharmacy
