Qualifications:
-High school diploma
-Prior work as a medical patient service representative a plus however, not mandatory
-Tactful and diplomatic interpersonal skills and the ability to professionally resolve conflict
-Adaptability to changing environments as assistance in other offices may be required
-Ability to work effectively and thrive in a team-based setting
Responsibilities:
-Greet and check-in and check-out patients
-Confirm registration, insurance and updating patient information in the electronic medical record as appropriate
-Help coordinate care in terms of responding to patient calls, scheduling appointments, and communicating with other offices as needed
-Make meaningful connections and make a difference to the people in our community!

Preference will be given to candidates with:
-Experience in public contact job, preferably in healthcare setting
-One year’s experience in medical practice or healthcare setting
-Knowledge of medical terminology and medical office workflow
-Working knowledge of Epic EMR system and common Windows software applications
