About the Job:
This dual-role position blends Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist responsibilities with Student Clinical Coordinator leadership. You will implement the student clinical education plan, serve as the primary liaison with the Radiologic Technology Program, and uphold JRCERT accreditation standards. Alongside educational duties, you will perform a full range of diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging outcomes.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead clinical education by supervising radiology students, coordinating clinical instruction, and conducting evaluations aligned with ARRT and program requirements.
- Serve as the primary program liaison by communicating departmental updates, attending faculty meetings, and supporting accreditation needs.
- Support staff education through orientation, competency documentation, and ongoing training.
- Perform diagnostic imaging including trauma, orthopedic, fluoroscopic, contrast, and invasive procedures following departmental protocols.
- Ensure image quality through proper positioning, technique, documentation, and presentation to Radiologists.
- Administer contrast via IV, oral, and rectal routes per protocol.
- Operate portable imaging equipment and safely assist with patient movement using appropriate protective devices.
- Maintain compliance with ALARA, HIPAA, and all safety standards.
- Demonstrate professionalism through compassionate communication, patient-centered care, and collaboration across departments.
