About the Job:

As an Exercise Physiologist in our Cardiopulmonary Rehab department, you will play a vital role in helping patients safely regain strength and improve cardiovascular and pulmonary health through personalized exercise programs and education.

What You’ll Do:

• - Administer 6-Minute Walk Tests and Timed Get Up and Go assessments.
• - Develop and lead individualized and group exercise sessions.
• - Create home exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• - Educate patients on telemetry monitoring, pulse taking, and cardiac risk reduction.
• - Schedule new patients and maintain timely documentation.
• - Respond to emergency situations within scope of practice.
• - Deliver community education programs and stay current with evidence-based practices.

Who You Are:

• - Degree in Exercise Science.
• - Current BCLS certification.
• - Basic knowledge of nutrition, cardiac and pulmonary anatomy.
• - Skilled in assessing BP, HR, and O2 saturation.
• - Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• - Strong communicator with the ability to multitask and prioritize patient care.
