About the Job:
As the Lead Technologist, MRI, you will perform all aspects of magnetic resonance imaging while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. You will work closely with the MRI supervisor to oversee daily department operations, coordinate staff development, and handle administrative duties to support seamless clinical workflows.
What You’ll Do:
• Perform comprehensive MRI examinations—including orthopedic, cardiac, abdominal, lung, and breast scans—according to established protocols.
• Review patient medical information, reconcile physician orders, and complete essential documentation such as consents and questionnaires.
• Ensure high-quality exams are submitted for radiologist interpretation and complete required follow-up paperwork and quality control records.
• Maintain proficiency with electronic and scheduling systems including EPIC, PACS, and Life Images while strictly adhering to HIPAA privacy regulations.
• Assist radiologists with invasive procedures, coordinate training for new personnel, monitor department supplies, and initiate equipment service calls when needed.
Who You Are:
• Graduate of two years of Radiology Technology training in an AMA-approved school meeting ARRT registry requirements in Radiology.
• Holder of current ARRT(R) certification and State of NH Licensure, with ARRT(MR) certification required or obtainable within one year of hire.
• Experienced professional with a minimum of three to five years of direct MRI experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and clinical computer applications like EPIC and PACS.
• Skilled communicator with a demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain composure and compassion in all patient and team interactions.
