About the Job:
The Patient Experience Specialist at Southern New Hampshire Health System (SNHH) will lead initiatives to enhance patient, family, and visitor experiences by promoting empathy, responsiveness, and service excellence. Acting as a liaison between patients, staff, and leadership, this role ensures patient voices are heard and concerns are resolved promptly. The Specialist will champion strategies to improve satisfaction, trust, and operational performance, driving continuous improvement and fostering a culture of patient-centered care that strengthens SNHH’s reputation and supports positive outcomes.
What You’ll Do:
Partner with departments across the health system to identify trends, share best practices, and drive improvement in patient experience outcomes.
Conduct rounding and facilitate sharing and following up on feedback to capture real-time insights from patients and staff.
Act as the administrator for the NRC Health portal, ensuring timely access to survey data and actionable insights for leaders and teams.
Support feedback management processes to close the loop on patient concerns that come through patient surveys and enhance service recovery efforts.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
2+ years in patient experience or customer service within healthcare
Strong communication, data analysis, and facilitation skills
Familiarity with patient satisfaction tools (NRC, Press Ganey)
CPXP certification is a plus
