About the Job:

Reporting to the Vice President of Revenue Cycle Services, the Manager, Vendor Relations and HHHC Billing oversees all vendor relations within the SNHH Revenue Cycle Department, including bad debt, billing, statement processing, follow-up, and technology/software offerings. This role also manages billing and collections for Home Health and Hospice Care (HHHC). The manager serves as the primary contact for vendor-related issues, monitors performance, and ensures integration and reconciliation processes are effective. Additionally, the role includes operational oversight of HHHC billing and follow-up services.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and manage vendor operations and HHHC billing/follow-up teams.

  • Collaborate across SNHH and HHHC departments to meet organizational and patient needs.

  • Hire, train, evaluate, and manage staff performance.

  • Maintain vendor databases and oversee onboarding and policy development.

  • Monitor vendor performance and conduct regular review meetings.

  • Manage vendor contracts, disputes, and communications.

  • Oversee HHHC billing operations and ensure adherence to KPIs and industry best practices.

  • Develop quality assurance programs and training for HHHC billing staff.

  • Collaborate with payer representatives to resolve complex billing issues.

  • Propose and implement policy and technology enhancements.

  • Complete audits and stay current on regulatory changes.

  • Adhere to HIPAA and other compliance standards.

  • Utilize EPIC and Microsoft Office tools effectively.

  • Demonstrate strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Who You Are / Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare-related field required.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in healthcare billing, customer service, or a related field.

  • Skills & Knowledge:

    • Strong understanding of medical insurance, billing, HIPAA regulations, CPT and ICD-10 coding.

    • Proficiency in EPIC and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.).

    • Excellent verbal and written communication.

    • Strong customer service and analytical skills.

    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
